Our Story
Tanglefoot Farm Livery Yard was set up by a local lass who from a young aged dreamed of having her own pony. She watched a foal being born in a field next to her school and wished every day she could buy this foal. As she grew up she got her first pony and joined the the pony club. She continued to watch the foal grow into a pretty filly and then into a gorgeous young mare. Little did she know her father brought this horse as a surprise for her 12th Birthday. This horse was called Folly Tanglefoot! Paula and Tangles grew an amazing bond and went on to compete together winning many trophies. Tangles went to the horsey heaven in the sky at a good age of 28. She was put to rest under a big tree that she use to shade herself under.
Paula started this livery with her husband Scott so other horse lovers can enjoy time with their horses and make great memories along the way like she has and continues to do
Beautiful Landscapes and Facilities
Set in Hampshire's beautiful countryside we are spoilt with all the facilities around us. Our 13 acres of grazing back straight out on to miles of bridleways and we have quiet lanes to hack out on. We have a full Olympic size (65m x 25m) floodlit school with poles and blocks for grid work and a full set of jumps. Weather permitting we have a small x-country course. If the land becomes too hard or wet we then offer arena x-country hire
Services and More
All of our stables are a spacious 12' x 12' and have been professionally built from a high grade sustainable wood. We offer Full and Assisted Livery. Our liveries have use of the school but we also hire the school out to local riding clubs and individuals.
Throughout the year we host small friendly events such as clear round jumping, gymkhanas, showing, dressage and arena x-country
There is also an online equestrian shop run through our Facebook page for horse and rider so don't forget to take a look. We only hold a small amount of stock but can provide most things on our monthly ordering service
For those not as spoilt as us with the amazing hacking or just fancy a change of scenery we offer a park and ride facility. To book park and ride please email us on tanglefootfarmlivery@yahoo.com with dates and vehicle registration number(s)
In addition to the horsey side we support a few charities and will assist them with some fundraising events
